What exactly will be covered in this Advanced AI Engineering program?

In this program, we will cover all the aspects that you will need to work with modern AI systems, i.e, from fundamentals to applied use cases. The Advanced AI Engineering Program will cover: Core machine learning and deep learning concepts How to build and train models using Python Working with large language models (LLMs) Prompt design and structured outputs Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and embeddings Building and using AI agents Fine-tuning and evaluating generative AI systems Practical use of LLMs in software engineering and system design By the end, you’ll have a clear understanding of how today’s AI solutions are built and how they are applied in practice.

How deep does the curriculum go into Generative AI and LLMs?

The curriculum covers Generative AI in detail. You will learn how to work with conversational and multimodal LLMs, use embeddings and RAG to add context, apply function calling, and evaluate model outputs. It also includes fine-tuning and advanced API usage so you understand how LLM-based systems are built and improved in applications.

Does this course include hands-on implementation or only concepts?

Yes. The program is prepared to build your skills that are on par with industry standards. You will actively work with LLM APIs, build conversational applications, use RAG to improve responses, evaluate Generative AI outputs, and experiment with agent-based workflows. The focus is on applying what you learn while understanding the concepts.

Is prior machine learning experience required to follow the course?

No prior machine learning experience is required. Basic programming knowledge is enough to get started. The program begins with machine learning and deep learning fundamentals and then gradually moves into advanced AI engineering and Generative AI topics.

How much emphasis is placed on system-level AI engineering?

The course spends a significant amount of time on how AI systems are put together end-to-end. You’ll learn how complete AI pipelines are designed, how RAG-based systems are structured, how outputs are evaluated, and how multiple AI components work together in production-style setups.

Will I learn how to work with embeddings and vector databases?

Yes. You’ll learn how embeddings are used to represent data, how vector-based retrieval works, and how these are applied in building RAG-based AI systems that can search, retrieve, and respond more accurately.

Does the course cover AI agents and autonomous workflows?

Yes. The course includes a dedicated module on AI agents. You’ll learn what agents are, how their workflows are designed, and how they interact with tools and large language models to perform tasks autonomously.

Are modern LLM optimization techniques part of the curriculum?

Yes. The program covers ways to improve LLM performance, including fine-tuning and distillation, better prompt design, and practical techniques like caching and batching to make LLM-based systems more efficient.

Will this program help me use AI for software engineering productivity?

Yes. The program shows how LLMs can be used to support everyday software engineering work, including system design tasks and AI-assisted coding workflows similar to tools like Cursor and Copilot.

What AI Engineering Means in 2026?

Why AI application development looks different today?

AI was used in a very linear way, not too long ago.

A Netflix recommendation engine looked at whether a user finished a crime thriller, paused halfway through a documentary, rewatched a sitcom, or searched for a particular actor before deciding what to recommend next. Fraud detection systems checked whether a customer who usually spent ₹2,000 in Mumbai suddenly made an international transaction of ₹1 lakh from another device within a few minutes. E-commerce search systems pushed products higher or lower depending on previous clicks, purchases, cart activity, ratings, and conversion rates for similar users.

Most of these AI systems were designed to generate a prediction or ranking and then stop there.

Now, AI applications are expected to continue working through the entire task!

A support assistant for an e-commerce platform may need to identify the customer’s order ID, check whether the item falls within the return window, read the latest refund policy, verify payment status in another system, generate the correct response, and escalate the case if the request exceeds policy limits.

That is also why AI engineering now involves retrieval systems, evaluations, observability, deployment, memory, and agent workflows alongside model development.
